Issue 23
Issue 23 has just arrived! Unfortunately we won’t be having our usual Barbican launch because of you know what so we’d like to draw your attention to this issue which you can now purchase from our shop. As usual we have a variety of poetic styles for you: Kate Ling reflects on Frank O’Hara’s ‘pursuit of ideas, the way he describes the world and the feelings it engenders’, Anna Evas organises her poem, about the tragic life of two orphans living in danger, into 21 cantos, whilst Mark Dickinson’s selection includes both text and image. There are three translations, of Dante, Paul Valery and Ȧngelos Sikelianόs, plus an essay by Anna Reckin on landscape poetry.
We rely entirely on sales for our continuation so please do support us by spreading the word, subscribing or purchasing Issue 23!
