Issue 25 – something to celebrate!
We thought Issue 24 was long at 95 pages, but this one is even longer coming in at 122. Glad to see the long poem is thriving – keep sending them in folks! We have 19 poets in our latest issue, plus an essay by Gavin Selerie on The Book Length Poem. Timothy Adès, a rhyming translator, adapts ‘The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock’ into ‘Inglish’ , omitting the letter ‘e’; Robert Hampson takes the artwork of Ewald Matarè as a starting point for his sequence; Elizabeth Bletsoe’s ‘open style’ is informed partly by the opening chapter of Hardy’s Return of the Native: Elżbieta Wójcik-Leese’ ‘archival research for ice’ contributed to her poem – and that’s only for starters!
Don’t miss out on your copy – our last two issues sold out very quickly!
